Guenther Reibling - Founder, In Memoriam
TI Group was built on the vision and legacy of Guenther Reibling, an entrepreneur and commercial real estate investor whose career spanned more than five decades and four continents. Guenther founded the original Taurus Investment Group in the 1980s, later co-building it into what became Taurus Investment Holdings — a globally recognized real estate private equity firm with over $7 billion in transactional history across 15 markets. After selling the firm in 2019, he chose to start something new — smaller, more personal, and closer to home. An opportunity to invest alongside his sons, with the same care and discipline that had defined his career, but on his own terms. Guenther passed away in July 2020. His values and investment philosophy continue to guide the firm.
Christopher Reibling
President & Managing Partner
Christopher Reibling has served as President & Managing Partner of TI Group since January 2021, overseeing all aspects of portfolio strategy, asset management, investor relations, and dispositions. He brings over 30 years of commercial real estate experience spanning brokerage, acquisitions, leasing, and asset management. Prior to TI Group, Chris spent 16 years at Taurus Investment Holdings in senior acquisitions and asset management roles across the firm’s U.S. portfolio. Earlier positions included CBRE Montreal and Cambridge Property Group in Washington, D.C. Chris holds the CCIM designation, a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida, and a BBA in Finance from Acadia University.
Matthew Reibling
Partner & Principal
Matthew Reibling is a Principal of TI Group and the Founder & Managing Partner of Techsyn Ventures, an Austin-based early-stage venture platform focused on real estate technology. Through Techsyn, Matthew makes value-add direct equity investments in proptech startups across construction technology, smart building systems, energy, and autonomy — with portfolio companies including ICON, EcoSmart Solution, and Luminar. He brings a strong background in commercial real estate acquisitions with prior experience at Taurus Investment Holdings as Director of Acquisitions for the Texas and Midwest regions.
Timothy Reibling
Partner & Principal
Timothy Reibling is a Principal of TI Group with a background in technology, eCommerce, and software development. Along with building and managing dozens of websites, he developed and managed proprietary ecommerce multi-channel inventory management and re-pricing software that syndicated tens of thousands of product SKUs to several leading ecommerce marketplaces including Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, BestBuy, Loblaws and Houzz.
